A scientific portfolio is only useful if it grades its own products the way a payer or a skeptical clinician would. Every product we distribute is listed here with its grade, its regulatory record, its instructions for use, and every clinical study, registered trial, and case series we could verify. Nothing is cited from marketing copy: each entry links to PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, the FDA database, or the source document.

A multiple RCTs or a meta-analysis of RCTs on the product · B at least one RCT or a strong prospective comparative trial · C case series, retrospective, registry, or bench data only · D mechanism and regulatory documentation only · N/A not clinically graded. Open “About this evidence” for the grading rationale. These are Albacete’s editorial grades, not clinical recommendations. Tags marked class concern the product class, not the specific product. ActiGraft+

RedDress Ltd.

Point-of-care autologous whole blood clot (AWBC) tissue formed chairside from the patient's own peripheral blood using the RD-1/RD-2 (ActiGraft/ActiGraft PRO) clotting system.

A
About this evidence

One product-specific multicenter RCT (n=119) met its primary endpoint at 12 weeks, and a 2026 meta-analysis of six RCTs of autologous blood-derived products (n=629) found the ActiGraft clot the best-performing modality. More than twenty further studies cover diabetic foot, venous, pressure, surgical, pilonidal and fistula wounds.

UltraMist Therapy

SANUWAVE Health, Inc. (formerly Celleration MIST Therapy)

Non-contact, low-frequency (approx. 40 kHz) ultrasound therapy delivered through a low-velocity saline mist for wound cleansing, maintenance debridement, and bioburden reduction; billed under CPT 97610. Same underlying generator/wand technology as the earlier Celleration MIST Therapy System.

A
About this evidence

Five randomized trials and two meta-analyses of the MIST/UltraMIST platform report faster healing and larger wound-area reduction than standard care, with a dozen further comparative and case studies. The current UltraMIST system (510(k) K140782) is the same non-contact low-frequency ultrasound platform as the original Celleration MIST device (K050129).

Ovena Health Collagen Wound Dressing

Ovena Health (private label)

Sterile, non-adherent 100% Type I bovine collagen wound pad (2x2 in / 4x4 in) for pressure injuries, venous and diabetic ulcers, surgical/Mohs wounds, skin tears, and other partial- and full-thickness chronic wounds; sold direct-to-consumer, no prescription required.

A class evidence
About this evidence

Graded on its product class: a 2022 meta-analysis of eleven RCTs (n=961) found collagen dressings plus standard care healed significantly more wounds than standard care alone. No study tests the Ovena-branded pad itself.

Ovena Hydrocolloid Roll, Cut-to-Size

Ovena Health (private label)

Latex-free, thin/translucent hydrocolloid dressing sold in a cut-to-size roll (2 in wide, 5 ft or 16 ft lengths) marketed for minor skin protection -- pimples/acne spots, blisters, calluses, minor cuts and scrapes -- explicitly positioned as general-use skin protection rather than a cleared therapeutic wound-care device.

N/A
About this evidence

Sold for minor skin protection such as blemishes, blisters and calluses rather than as a wound-healing device, so it is not clinically graded. Hydrocolloid dressings as a class have a Cochrane review in chronic wounds, listed for context.

Ovena Sock Aid

Ovena Health (private label)

Long-handle donning device (curved plastic cradle/channel with dual pull cords and foam handles) that helps users put on compression stockings, diabetic socks, or everyday socks without bending or reaching their feet; a mechanical activities-of-daily-living aid, not a therapeutic product.

N/A
About this evidence

A donning aid with no therapeutic claim, so it is not clinically graded; the maker cites only a 5,000-cycle durability test.

Ovena Sterile Saline Wound Wash

Ovena Health (private label)

Sterile 0.9% sodium chloride (USP) solution in individually sealed, single-use 15 mL ampoules, used to rinse and irrigate a wound as a first step in a clinician-directed wound-care routine; not for injection.

N/A
About this evidence

Sterile 0.9% saline is the reference cleansing solution in wound-care trials rather than a treatment with an outcome claim, so it is not graded. A 2022 Cochrane review of 13 RCTs (n=2,504) found only low-certainty differences between cleansing solutions.

Why we publish this: grades like these are what a MAC reviewer, a payer medical director, or a skeptical wound-care chief will assemble anyway. Handing it to you first, with the gaps named, is the difference between a scientific portfolio and a brochure.
